Hello people! Fragment, a leading web design and application development company, is looking for an entry level web developer to join our crew. As a developer here at Fragment you will be working on projects on your own as well as larger projects that are a collaborative effort. Located in downtown Raleigh, we have a laid back but focused office culture.
We don’t micro-manage so a willingness to project manage yourself and communicate directly with clients is something you must be both good at and willing to do. We never outsource any work and believe that the best work comes from a close knit group where everyone feeds off of each others creativity and has fun together outside of work and during. We always work to get to the best possible product out, so someone who is not afraid to stay after 6 and spend a couple of late nights with us is great.
Requirements:
- HTML & CSS
- Javascript
- PHP/MySQL
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (ExpressionEngine, Wordpress, Etc.)
Bonus Points:
- CakePHP
- Code Igniter
- jQuery or similar JavaScript Library
- AJAX
- Familiarity with Responsive design
- Ruby on Rails
- iOS Development
- Search Engine Optimization
- Understanding of MVC software architecture
- Organized and Familiar with writing standards compliant code
